numerous drag and female impersonators that often seek his editing skills for
their musical material for their pageants and weekly shows.
To satisfy his desire to give back to the community that has given him so much,
Relentless has done pro bono DJ work for various benefits for community based
organizations such as The Anti-Violence Project NY, the Hedrick Martin Institute

his services for several corporate functions for the likes of “Saturday Night
Live”, related Management Company, LP and Asbury Park’s Annual Road Trip.
Being a part of the MTV generation and having witness the landscape of New York
nightlife ebb and flow over the years, sensing a need for a little extra
something for his patrons and fans, DJ Relentless has recently added VJ to his
moniker highlighting his ability to adapt with the times. Since doing so, his
entertaining video complications are continuously sought after by bars/lounge
and nightclub owners in NYC for added value they bring to their venues.
As a recording artist, Alphonso King began his recording career in 1997 with the
release of his first 12” Dance single “Why Are You Gaggin’?”
as his alter ego - Jade Elektra. In 2000, he signed a record deal with Triple
XXX Records in the UK. “Bitch You Look Fierce” and “What-Evah”
have become underground dance and runway favorites from New York to London. Jade
Elektra then released an album called “Proud Mary” on 2nd Level Records in 2003.
Then in 2004, Jade teamed up with Midnight Society to do “How Do I Look?” and
then in 2007, Midnight Society remixed Jade’s duet with Jason Ryan called
“Trade”. Presently, Jade is working on new material for her next album which
will include her cover of the Billie Holiday classic, “Don’t Explain”. As DJ
Relentless, he has released his production with UK producers, Loop Da Funk
called “House Is Alive” and “Let The Rain Fall” with Daniel Kingsley on Groove
Baby Records in 2008.
With almost 30 years of DJ experience under his belt, DJ Relentless is pleased
that his skills are still very much in demand. Several more projects are in the
works, DJ Relentless, Jade Elektra and Alphonso King are definitely names to
look out for.
